Fundraising

Monthly Prize Draw

2024 began with prizes donated by Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire, Holm House in Penarth, and Carrie Elspeth Jewellery in March. We are extremely grateful for these generous donations. This means that our fundraising has kicked off positively for us and we are looking forward to promoting all businesses who offer us a prize for our monthly draw.

Friends of The Ajuda Foundation

By becoming a Friend of the Foundation, you will be supporting our projects, The Purple Sunflower Project and the Restart a Heart project, making sure that we are able to continue to deliver free physical and mental health and wellbeing workshops to community groups and schools in Wales.

Becoming a Friend costs £50 per year, which gives you 6 numbers in our prize draw each month.

A Night with the Stars

Thanks to all who joined our unforgettable Night with the Stars on December 2nd.

The presence of Doreen Ogmore-Jones, Kris Martyn, and Riley Healey made it a resounding success. The money generated from ticket sales, and all the fun and games on the night supports Ajuda Foundation’s Restart a Heart project and The Purple Sunflower Project.

Your generosity demonstrated your commitment to our cause, and we say a massive thank you to everyone for participating!

Bingo & Quiz Fundraiser

July 2023

The Purple Sunflower Project held its first dedicated fundraiser in August 2023, and we were very pleased to welcome the die-hard fans of bingo from Llangeinor. Dawn Evans, CEO of the Ajuda Foundation discovered her calling in life – pun intended! – as she called the numbers on the night in her own unique style, provoking much laughter and merriment. Tom Evans, our volunteer MC took charge of the quiz and all in all, a great night was had by all, raising just over £100 for the Purple Sunflower Project.

Skydive

10th June 2023

The skydive was a huge success in June 2023, contributing hugely to our overall fundraising total of £28,357.88. Thank you to everyone who took part. Anyone for a wing walk in 2024?
